This time, we’re introducing Jenna Jyrinki, one of Codeax’s two Software Development Coordinators. Jenna is responsible for the continued development of Codeax SAFE, guiding customers in using the platform, and working on a variety of safety-related projects.

I’m Jenna Jyrinki, one of the two Software Development Coordinators at Codeax Oy. My role includes contributing to the development of Codeax SAFE, collaborating with customers, and participating in various safety projects.

Before joining Codeax, I worked for nearly four years in the environmental and safety engineering unit at AX-Suunnittelu as part of Ari’s safety team. My work covered a wide range of tasks including the preparation and updating of rescue plans, explosion protection documents, and hazard and risk assessments in cooperation with clients. My background in safety engineering led me first to AX-Suunnittelu and later to Codeax.

My motto is: “Those who ask don’t lose their way.”

As a Software Development Coordinator, customer support is also an essential part of my work. We’ve designed Codeax SAFE to be as easy to use as possible, but naturally, customers may still have questions – either about the software itself or about safety topics more broadly. In these situations, we’re always available to support and assist. I want to help our customers maintain and improve the safety of their operations and promote a stronger safety culture overall.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with horses or doing crafts. Occasionally, I also go orienteering or exploring the forest. One of my favorite traditions is the Jukola Relay – the “Christmas and Midsummer” of Finnish orienteers – where my team and I have participated in the women’s relay, Venlojen viesti, for nine years running with nearly the same group.
